Best lychee martini I've ever had. Always tasty. Come with soup and salad. Great tea. Good prices especially at lunch.

Very relaxing environment and great food! Their curry dishes are very tasty and they have a nice selection of sushi and plenty of vegetarian options!

Okay, so dinner was great. No complaints on the food. Atmosphere was nice. We went on Valentine's day, so I can understand being busy, and there being a wait for sushi orders, and having a new server in training, and the possibility of being short on sushi chefs, and even our party forgetting about it after our bottle of plum wine and a good main course, BUT.... I really wish we would have received our Black Dragon sushi plate that was ordered and paid for. I bet it would've been yummy. Other than that; 4, possibly 5 stars.

I have steamed dumplings as appetizer. Sushi box for main course. Yummy & beautiful presentation. Located in downtown Gainesville by community Plaza, theater, restaurants. A pleasant walking district. Parking could be challenging but there are city parking garages nearby.

This place is my GO TO! during the week the do a lunch special where you get 3 rolls for 12$ or 2 for 9$ and it comes with soup and salad. It’s amazing! Their sushi is delicious and not pricey at all! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I went for the first time an anniversary dinner. The food and drinks were excellent and the entire serving staff was very attentive. We will definitely go back to try some of the other appetizers and sushi since we only had entrees this time.

I had their Thai Curry on the lunch menu and the food was okay but the portion, especially the curry soup was rather skimpy. I had expected to get something with more soup given some of the photos others have posted but it was really little. The waiter taking out a check and putting it on the table only when I was halfway done was dampening. I’ll probably not go back but the place was clean and food was ok so I am giving 3/5 stars.

Loved the tasting menu of small plates which range in price from $5 to $10. We had the deep fried Japanese Oysters which were excellent. We then split the Grilled Lobster Bento Box which contained 2 -6 ounce lobster tails, rice, and several vegetables. Everything was delicious. Our server was excellent. I did not give it 5 stars because we sat for a very long time before a server was assigned to our table. 17 minutes. Employees kept passing us by as if we weren't there. No water on the table, nothing. Once we were assigned a server, everything went very smoothly.

Nice staff, good food, fair prices. I particularly like the Gator Roll with no cream cheese. I find it comparable to the Dragonfly Classic Roll. Used to be a die hard DragonFly fan, but can get comparable food at lower prices and less packed at Liquid Ginger!

Whitney was an incredibly awful waitress. My friends wanted to share a sushi roll and she came back 20 minutes later asking what roll they wanted because she forgot and then returned 45 minutes later saying the roll could not be made even though my friends have eaten this roll many times before. They ended up ordering different rolls which she managed to mess up. We also asked 4 times for sides of spicy mayo and eel sauce and she never brought it so we asked the water person to bring it for us. She was very defensive about her screw ups and we are very disappointed about the service. She also put the wrong orders on each of our bills.

We ordered for the first time last night for my husband's birthday and it was absolutely amazing!! Everything was so delicious and top notch. We can't wait to order take out here again!! Yummy!!!

I wish I could subtract stars...The server obviously did not want to be there. Ruined my daughter's 16th birthday with rudeness and HORRIBLE service. Don't waste your time or money!!!!!!!!!!!

Always great atmosphere and great food. I recently went on NYE and the waiter forgot my friend's drink. No problem, I reminded a waiter in a different section and watched her tell the bartender. Still no drink. While the food came out at a good pace, the check took a while.

Food and service were both very good. The only drawback was a very loud table of 10 people. Hot tea selection was huge. Tuna roll with peppered tuna was exceptional. The spicy kani krab roll was very tasty. Lobster roll was good, spicy mayo was heavy, ask for it on the side if you don't like alot.

One of the best spots for lunch or dinner in Gainesville, period. You can order any food or drinks on the menu, and you will be pleased. I especially recommend the teriyaki beef and lime salad dressing. Get the $5 bento box upgrade for dinner. Service is on point, too.Other Gainesville Asian restaurants (Samurai in particular) are just jokes in comparison.

We liked the food. Sushi rolls were good. Recommend the Golden Apple and Rainbow roll. Good service. Ask for a table, though. Booths are too low.

It was really nice -- I got the bento option and it was very good. The vegetarian options seem really good too. The tea selection was very varied.

Asian cuisine, steaks and seafood prepared in an elegant setting.There is an expansive cocktail menu and the prices are shockingly low given the quality of the food. I highly recommend the bento upgrade, the soups and salad are tasty and the red bean ice cream is well worth a try.The only downside is it is quite busy at peak hours, reservations are recommended.

Lovely restaurant, clean and professional. The servers are accurate and polite. Every dish I've seen served here is wonderfully presented and really full of flavor and technique.

Good food at a good price. Generally, not ok busy like some of the trendy places around it. I prefer it to other restaurants in the same area.

I went for lunch today, and, as always, the food was great. Their lunch specials are amazing! I got Pad Thai for $8.00, which included soup, salad, a spring roll, and a cup of rice, which I didn't even need. My lunch partner got the Thai curry for the same price. I've had the garlic eggplant in the past, which is also excellent. Fast service, and friendly staff. Pretty decor, and outside seating is also available. They are often busy, but it's a great atmosphere! Always a great experience!

Liquid Ginger has THE BEST specialty rolls in all of Gainesville!! The Tuna Amazing, Angry Dragon and Snow White rolls are our favorites. Even my BF was impressed with the Gator roll and he's not the biggest sushi fan. Customer service is beyond superb, also! If they make a mistake, they go above and beyond to make it right. Glad we have this hidden gem in Gainesville!!

Nice atmosphere, clean environment, good vibes, but subpar service. Took about 15 minutes after sitting down before a waiter tended to us with water and another 10 mins before we could get anyone to take our orders. We were very understanding of the given circumstances with the lack of service, but it shouldn’t have been that slow in a restaurant with 6 tables filled. We ordered a sushi and sashimi for two platter and a martini which ended up have a fruit fly. We did get a replacement, but the bartender didn’t seem too happy. Portions are a bit skimpy for the price, but I guess the environment makes up for it. Bathrooms are a bit dark in the ladies room with buckets in the way. Not for or against another visit. If I ever go again, I hope it makes up for the mistakes.

Deserted for lunch but the service was just right and the establishment was clean and beautiful. The speed of the meal coming from the kitchen was quite quick. The food was very well prepared and presented. Quiet relaxed atmosphere while there is quite a shopping plaza outside. Beautiful architecture all around and brick streets that now serve as walk ways with sculptures to view out of the windows while you dine.

GREAT FOOD!! Go at lunch time. The prices are WAY less expensive than the dinner menu!! 2 sushi rolls for $9 or 3 for $12 and there's a variety to choose from. Also, their lunch meals come with soup and salad and you won't leave hungry!!!

I've been here twice and have only gotten the tofu pad thai but it's such a good pad thai that I don't think I'll be changing up my order anytime soon. I've seen people have large group dinners in here as well as just casual dining. The service is great and the food has always tasted good. The location is a little hard to find but totally worth it.
